Lets Start; This is My Experience in The First Semester of my College

University life is a desire of all students especially for senior high school students. Because they think, university life is easy one where they can express their self as free as they want, they are not using uniform again, and they can associate as free as they want, they can try new life with new experience, and they have a full control of their life. Actually, when I was in Senior high school I also had a mindset like that; I thought that University life is a cool one is an easy life where I can express myself as I want, like fashion, social life or anything. And some months were left after I think about the university life and I graduated from senior high school. Finally, I enter the university life; I take my college in Sampoerna School of Education (SSE) in English for Education major, where I will become a Teacher candidate. In this Campus, I got new Experiences, I met new Friends with any characteristic and their own uniquely, I met new lovely teachers (lecturers) and they were very kind, please and also stylish and they are more stylish then us as their students. That was so funny, isn’t it?

Now, it is almost five months I become University student. Exactly some of things that I had thought before were true. In university I can express myself in some aspect as I want. But it just one thing that I ever thought could be true, in University life is not an easy one. In the University, I got new subjects of lesson that I never had before, I had many assignments more than I have when I was in Senior high school, new system of study, and the other thing that I had never think when I was in Senior high school. But whenever it was hard, I still get a lot of fun here.

In the Learning process, there is a subject that I think that was very interesting. That was, ICT (Information and Communication Technology). The Lecture is Mr. Aldi, and He was a kind and relaxive lecture. He taught us many interesting things and also new things that we never got before. He teaches us about many useful software, gave us many useful website, and also gave us some links of Online software that’s very useful especially for us as teachers candidate. I got many knowledge from this subject as Prezy (software for online Presentation), Inspiration (software to make concept map), Hypermedia and Multimedia tools (Movie Maker), and Webquest (Webpages for online Teaching). Actually there were very interesting and also useful. Because from that software I can learn about something new and practice myself to use the technology that had been grow more and more. I can practice myself to make a movie by using Movie Maker software, I can make useful Webpage by Webquest, make a lesson plan by Inspirations Software and also Online Presentation by Prezy. Actually, by applying all of it in the learning process, Learning process could be more Interesting.
